Before sending money to a mining app or cloud-mining website, check the evidence instead of relying on a polished dashboard, testimonials or promised returns.
Start with the checklist
- 10 Red Flags of a Fake Bitcoin Mining App
- 9 Checks Before Paying a Bitcoin Mining Company
- What to Do When a Cloud Mining Withdrawal Is Pending
Red flags worth investigating
- Guaranteed or unusually fixed returns.
- Unclear company ownership or changing developer names.
- Pressure to deposit quickly.
- Fees required before a withdrawal can be released.
- No independently verifiable evidence of mining hardware or hashrate.
- Vague contract, maintenance or withdrawal terms.
- Requests for seed phrases, private keys or authentication codes.
A red flag is a reason to investigate further, not by itself proof of fraud. Read the evidence and limitations in each individual review.
