Mining Apps

Mining Apps

Mobile “mining” apps can represent very different products. Some connect to remote services, some distribute rewards for activity, some simulate mining, and some use mining language without providing evidence of conventional proof-of-work mining on the phone.

How we evaluate them

  • What the app actually does on the device.
  • Whether the claimed mining mechanism is technically plausible.
  • Withdrawal thresholds, fees and destination wallets.
  • Developer identity, app history and data-safety disclosures.
  • User reports versus independently verified transaction evidence.

Start with the evidence

An in-app balance is not automatically a blockchain balance, and a “hashrate” number is not proof of physical mining. Our reviews try to separate documented facts from developer claims and individual user experiences.
